Jian Shu is one of the sports that reflect the ancient Chinese tradition when it comes to fighting as a gentleman. The jian is the Chinese double edged sword used as a weapon by gentlemen in Chinese folklore and it is one of the four main Chinese weapons together with the Gun, the Qiang and the Dao. The Jian Shu is a fencing competition that takes place all over the world where there are individuals passionate about it. Tournaments take place in Las Vegas, US, in other parts of the US and in Asia. In Asia, competitions usually take place in China, Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
